Where are your priorities?
Takes on the destructive nature of agriculture and the formation of our resource intensive society. Begins to look at man's role in nature as horticultural.
Our health, sanity and security all depend on freeing ourselves from the restrictions that our culture has created to force our toil for production.

Back To Eden
My good friends suggested that I watch Back to Eden. They told me it suggested a radically simple way to grow food. Based off of that recommendation I took the time to watch a video that would change the way I garden forever.
I am a lazy gardener, and to make matters worse generally forgetful. So when I saw the benefits that this method offered I decided to make the extra effort in the beginning stages of my garden and hopefully reap the rewards later on. The claim that this method makes is that you will not have to water, weeds will be suppressed and soil remains soft and loose.
The man who this video centers around is eager to share his method which he attributes to his prayer and study of the bible, thus the namesake Back to Eden. His excitement is contagious and my amazement at the the success of this method continues as my own garden flourishes. It is a long video but it is worth it.

Observation
Sometimes the most important things are right under your nose. It takes a special sort of discipline to see the things that you have spent your entire life looking right through. We distract ourselves with complex problems that would simply disappear if we managed to notice the mundane everyday ones. This blog is inspired by the small insights that occur as one adopts a wider perception of the world. It is a tool I am picking up to organize my thoughts and discoveries and to enhance my humanity. I want to understand the world we live in, the role nature intends us to play in it, and the snares of avarice and immorality that can so easily darken the soul.
I hope to collect the wisdom and beauty of others on this blog in order to celebrate the simplicity of truth.
